Before the Club: Best Finger Food Recipes!

There's no way that you can go from lunch until club time with nothing to eat. Most London nightclubs don't open before 10 p.m. … and an empty stomach fuelled by alcohol is a recipe for disaster! However, there's nothing quite as uncomfortable or disappointing as squeezing into your favourite clubbing dress, only to find that you have a bulge around the middle like a little potbellied pig! Finger food for dinner is the solution -- today we check out some yummy recipes to invite your mates round for before the club.
Om nom nom nom, says London nightclub snack monster! These nacho bites are absolutely delicious. I truly believe that the only reason nachos aren’t the national dish of every country on earth is that they are waaaaay too messy. These little bites will keep at least 6 friends going until the clubs open, without the need to redo makeup, or do any emergency dress changes.
You'll only need a few of these on your platter, and will most likely only need to hand them around the boys circle before they disappear! They are sinfully meaty … delicious, but not the best at absorbing alcohol. The tomato relish is a great allrounder for chips and crackers, though.
Make these ahead of time and keep them in the fridge until your friends are around. To finish them off, all you need to do is throw them in an oiled frypan for a couple of minutes, and put them next to some aioli. Definitely not heavy enough to cause any unwanted dress bulges. YUM!
You can’t go wrong with antipasto platters for entertaining before you go out to your London nightclub - everyone loves them. Don't overdo them, though - even the vegetables are oily!
