When in London

My husband and I were married on December 28 and spent our honeymoon in the town he grew up: London. He had told me all about the London nightlife but I was not at all prepared for how extraordinary it actually was.

We stayed at a London hotel which was hosting a lavish New Year party for all the guests. This party began on December 30 and continued on until the very early hours of January 1. I found that the English people are very welcoming and they made me feel like I was at home in their city.

Nightclubs in London are similar to those in the United States. Music spills out into the streets where many people can be found dancing and having a good time. What is most different about London is the lack of anger or violence you might find in clubs in the US. Everybody is out to just have a great time and nobody is looking for a fight. I enjoyed every minute we spent out in the city and quickly fell in love with London and its people.

Besides all the places to go clubbing there are also many quaint little pubs where many locals spend their evenings listening to bands play. I enjoyed the nightclubs but I really, really liked the pubs even more. It was such a treat to find a warm, dark corner, order a meal, and sit for hours watching and listening to the local people carry on their conversations. This was just the kind of place I would love to live and raise a family.

We spent two full weeks in London and I really hated having to leave. My husband and I are making plans to go back in the summer and we’ve also talked about making our lives there. I can’t think of anything better than to live in that great city and be a part of every New Year party that takes place in London.

Clubbing in London

Planning a surprise trip to London was one of the things that my girlfriends did for me on my birthday. This was one of the best birthday presents I have ever received. My friends took care of everything, even down to the smallest detail.

When we got to London, we wanted to see all of the sights of the city. Of course we went to the London Zoo, Big Ben and Windsor Castle to name a few places of interest. This was all great fun during the day, but in the evening was when the fun really began. My girlfriends knew all the hot night clubs in London to go to.

We had always heard that the club scene in London was hotter then the clubs in New York. There was no comparison. These clubs were amazing and the music was even better. The London night life was so much better then many of the clubs that we had been to in the United States. These party’s music was hopping and the clubs were filled with some of the greatest looking guys in the London area. That made us all happy.

The first night that we went clubbing in London was awesome. One of the first clubs that we went to was Stanza. They had Soul Friday going on and they played some great RnB music. It was made even better that ladies all got in free before 11pm. This club was one of our favorite clubs in the West End. We danced all night and had a great time.

One of the most unique clubs that they took me to was the Carwash at the Aquarium. This was a funky retro themed club that played Disco. This was so much fun because we all dressed up in disco clothes and boogied down all night. It was the highlight of the whole trip to London. It gave us all a chance to be goofy and have fun dressing the part. This was one of our all time favorite nightclubs in London and we plan to be back next year.

These clubs were so good that we want to plan another trip to the UK just for the club scene in London. We decided that going for new years would be a great time to vacation here again. The new years eve parties in London would make an exciting trip for next year.
